Eventuri carbon intake for Honda Civic Type-R FK8

The original airbox is placed right in front of the radiator fan that pushes the warm air into the intake system. With an open intake like the Eventuri filters, that is a big problem. To solve this, Eventuri equipped the Civic FK8 system with an aribox and an inlet scoop at the bottom of the box. The filter gets it's air from the side of the wings, eliminating any excess heat from the engine bay. Add this to a bigger opening for the air inlet, almost doubl the size, and you get a high performance intake.After that, the patented eventuri effect does the rest for the Hondy Civic R-Type FK8 intake: The air stream accelerates over the cone at the end of the filter and is bundled to take a quicker and more optimal way through the inlet tube with less friction and ultimately cooler air.
